Sin City, Startup City: How Vegas's Downtown Project is Changing How You Do Business

  • Container Park 707 Fremont St Las Vegas, NV, 89101 United States

What drew an eccentric Silicon Valley entrepreneur worth $840 million to Las Vegas, and why is he living in a trailer park with alpacas? The short answer: Tony Hsieh, CEO of Zappos, has a vision for how businesses should be run, and he sees Las Vegas as the home of this vision. E-STET is partnering with Tony Hsieh's Downtown Project to take a look at how this community of startup businesses is shaping how everyone is approaching customer service.

After a day at ILTA, join us on September 2, 2015 at 6 p.m. at Container Park for a tour of the Downtown Project, followed by drinks and food at the Gold Spike Hotel & Casino, where you can play giant versions of jenga, beer pong, and pool. Transportation from Caesar’s Palace will be leaving at 5:30 p.m. and returning to Caesar’s Palace by 9:30 p.m.

We'll also be welcoming a special guest, former Chairman of the Nevada Gaming Commission, Bill Curran, who will briefly talk about how Downtown Las Vegas has evolved throughout the years, and what he thinks the future of Las Vegas will look like.
